There are almost 4 billion women on the planet. We have issues and voices that impact everyone, especially in the church. Our goal is to have real conversations about the issues in the church and life from a woman's perspective.
Samenthur Neptune-Blake
I'm Samenthur Blake, a blogger, wife, mother, new “dog” mom, and pastor. I was born and raised in the West Indies on the beautiful Island of St. Lucia and currently live in Connecticut. I love it here! I am on the 27th year of my faith journey with Christ and I couldn’t imagine a life not shaped by His teachings. My passions include traveling, window shopping, getting lost in a great book and anything “ocean”. Our aim here at The Eve Edition, is to unmute black and brown women’s voices in the Christian space. We will explore topics that affect the whole person from the black and brown experience. Though we don’t speak for all, we look forward to helping empower many to speak for themselves in a way that fosters healthy dialogue while building bridges that lead to healing spaces.

Hi! I’m Jasmin Chery, and I’m an artist, a wife, and a mother. I’ve lived from the West to the East Coast and recently relocated to Rhode Island. Almost 16 years ago, I decided to follow Christ, and prioritizing my faith is a large part of my life. I love building relationships, creating memories with my family, learning, and developing my craft, being outdoors, and staying physically active. I hope to spark ideas, conversations, and vision for black and brown perspectives within the Christian landscape. I aim to help make our spiritual journeys an inclusive, understanding, helpful, relatable, and fun ride with God!
